Vulcan 1700 Voyager

2010-Kawasaki-Vulcan1700Voyagerg-smallVulcan 1700 Voyager, the most sophisticated touring bikes available in the market, has all advanced features like aerodynamic styling, powerful engine, ABS braking and cruise speed. The liquid cooled, 52 degree V-twin engine with 4-valves per cylinder yields a massive displacement of 1700 cc. the semi-dry sump lubrication and lower crankshaft helps to keep the engine height lower and thereby maintaining the center of gravity. The engine energizes to greater acceleration when it reaches 50-70 mph range and thereby getting the better and smooth handling in highways. The fuel injector system is derived from other Kawasaki models like Ninja 650R. The interesting feature Vulcan 1700 Voyager is the cruise control, which can be sparked off from third gear (35-5mph) and controlled by applying some force on brake lever, clutch lever and rear brake pedal. The six speed transmission with fifth and sixth gear being overdrive gears drives the Voyager to high speeds without much trouble for riders as well as higher fuel economy. The Voyager is lightweight and compact and can be handled easily even at low speeds. The large windshield is at fair height providing the protection from dust and wind particles. The comfort features like sculpted seats, upright riding position, spacious passenger seat and adjustable rear air-shocks are ideal for such a touring cruising motorcycle.

2010_kawasaki_voyager

Kawasaki Vulcan 1700 Voyager is the best ever cruising touring motorcycle with electronically controlled advanced features. The 1700 cc V-twin engine provides the high torque with mastering performance. In addition, the liquid cooled engine has Single Overhead Camshaft (SOHC) with eight valves per cylinder. The six-gear transmission provides tension free drive and fuel economy with the help of overdrive gear. The engine is compacted inside the extremely lightweight and agility frame with better torsion rigidity. Mounting of the front cowling and distance reduction between seat and frame head pipe provides the safety and agility at low speeds. The advanced Coactive-Braking Technology system with Anti-lock Braking System maintains the maximum braking efficiency and balanced braking. The advanced Throttle Valve System, which is electronically controlled, controls the intake of fuel and air.  The electronic instrumentation LCD display precisely updates the diagnostics like gear position indicator, fuel gauge, clock, odometer, dual trip meters, remaining range and average fuel consumption. The nine spoke cast wheels effectively resists the wear and tear and offer good traction control. There was large windshields and front fairing in order to protect the rider from wind and dust elements while cruising at high speeds.
